Sports Injury Physio

Injury in sport is inevitable  - what matters is what you do about it. Don't put up with or train through niggles - give us a call -  we can advise you on what to do. We want you to get better and most importantly - stay better 

The most common sports injuries we see fall into two groups:

    Ligament strains from impact of contact sports or high speed activities such as twisting and turning. Knees strains from the squash court and back strains from golf swing are examples of this.

    Overuse. Training or participating in any sport involves repetition. This can lead to focused strains and breakdown of joint and soft tissue function.

We can help. We will be able to give you a diagnosis of what the injury involves and what needs to be done to get you back to training. We'll be able to guide you as to how long recovery will take and what you'll need to do to avoid the injury recurring.

We use a range of treatments from simple techniques such as sports injury massage to more complex such as retraining muscle balance and correcting faulty biomechanics.
